ESPYs Worst Dressed 2016
2016年7月15日
While some ladies slayed the red carpet at the 2016 ESPY Awards, many others did not. We saw some dresses that were definitely a bit too much and we can’t decide who was the worst short prom dresses of the night! What do you guys think? .

At the 2016 ESPY Awards, we saw a ton of stunning looks, but with the good always comes the bad. There were a few ladies that just didn’t quite cut it this year, including, Ayesha Curry, 27,Gabrielle Union, 43, Danica Patrick, 34, and Katie Austin. All of these ladies are gorgeous, but their dresses were definitely not the right choices. Who do you guys think was the worst dressed?
We love Gabrielle so much and she usually always looks spot-on when it comes to red carpet events, but this time she really missed the mark. She opted for a long-sleeve, black leather sheer lace gown. Just looking at her made us sweat — this was definitely not the right choice for the dead of summer.
Ayesha went a little too overboard and her dress looked like a bouquet of roses. The red flower petal dress had an insanely plunging neckline which showed off massive cleavage, but we don’t really love the petals on the dress and her nude suede pumps look like they’re meant for the office.
It breaks our hearts to do this, but Danica just didn’t wow us at the awards show. She went with a very simple, one-shoulder, skin-tight black mini dress with a pair of orange strappy sandals.
Last but not least, Kate. She looked like she was heading to prom in this white romper-gown ensemble. She rocked a little white romper with a floor length cape attached to the back and a crystal belt fit around her waist.
We can’t decide who was the worst dressed of the night — what do you guys think?

With her immaculate sense of style and flair for fashion, Samantha Cameron has always known how to make an entrance and this afternoon she proved she also knew how to make an exit.
As the 45-year-old emerged from Number 10 by David’s side today to leave Downing Street for the last time she didn’t disappoint.
Samantha looked elegant in a graphic print block coloured £1,495 Roksanda dress as she left Downing Street for the final time this afternoon
photos:http://www.marieprom.co.uk/prom-dresses-liverpool
The former Smythson creative director wore a £1,490 graphic print short prom dresses by Serbian-born designer Roksanda to accompany her husband to Buckingham Palace as he officially tendered his resignation.
The elegant dress with a zip front comes from the Central St Martin graduate’s 10 year anniversary capsule collection.
Samantha paired her bold garment with simple accessories including black suede pointed court shoes and a patent black belt.
And taking after their mother in the style stakes were the Camerons’ two young daughters, Nancy, 12, and Florence, five.
Both Cameron girls looked charming in floral dresses from the Notting Hill boutique I Love Gorgeous but while Nancy was in a blue and green print smock dress worth £48.30, Florence’s £32.50 frock had a pink print.
Florence’s outfit was finished with a pair of gold Mary Jane T-bar shoes also from the same shop, priced at £65.
Elwen, 10, was dressed in a white shirt, jeans and a pair of trendy high top Vans sneakers priced at £52 as he watched his father’s historic speech.
David Cameron paid an emotional tribute to his family as he bid farewell to Downing Street tonight, describing Samantha as ’the love of my life’.
The former Prime Minister took to the podium while his 45-year-old wife stood to the side with their children.
As he gave his final speech outside Number 10, Cameron said it’s been the ’greatest honour of my life to serve our country as prime minister’.
He also said of Samantha - his spouse of 20 years - that she was the most ’amazing wife, mother and businesswoman’.
The decision to pose for photos in front of the world’s media was an unprecedented first for the Camerons and their children stole the show as they tried to put a brave face on an emotional occasion.
Florence clutched on to her big sister and clung on to her mother’s dress.
The family then climbed into two different cars and left Britain’s most famous address - that Sam Cam admitted to being ’terrified’ of before they moved in - for the last time.
The Camerons could hardly have imagined the events of today when they celebrated the Conservative victory just over a year ago.
They began the day with the couple going to David’s final PMQs at the House of Commons, before making their final trip to Downing Street before the arrival of its new tenant Theresa May.
Although Samantha has admitted to being ’daunted’ about moving in six years ago, as the bittersweet moment arrived, she looked sombre.
As during her time as chateleine of Britain’s most famous address, the 45-year-old has managed to turn it into a family home that has seen her host charity events as well as VIP guests including royalty and the Obamas.
Last year Samantha admitted to ITV’s Tom Bradbury: ’When we moved here it was incredibly daunting. I was terrified of the impact it was going to have on the children, on us as a family, on our marriage.
’But it’s been much easier than I expected it to be.’
Their arrival at the famous address came at a time of huge change for their family. Just a year before their beloved son Ivan, who had cerebral palsy and epilepsy, died aged just six.
Mrs Cameron recalled the shock of moving into Number 10. ‘I remember day one, I was doing Nancy’s homework with her at home in W10 [their house in North Kensington] and suddenly Dave rings, ’You’d better get a dress on because we’re about to go and see the Queen.”
I thought, ’Oh my gosh, what am I going to wear?’ I was five months pregnant at the time. We zoomed off to the palace – so surreal.’
She gave birth to their second daughter Florence Rose Endellion during a family holiday in Cornwall just three months later and the Camerons moved into the flat at Number 11, which became a family home as well as a political residence.
She famously told Mail On Sunday:‘The truth is I am not a very hands-on political wife; I don’t get involved in day-to-day Downing Street life.
’They don’t need me interfering, but in the evening we will talk about each other’s day. I try to stay out of the Westminster village. There are times when I will be surprised and curious about what’s been announced.
Her aim was to create a happy well-organised family environment that David could retreat to - ‘to keep him sane and keep things in perspective’.

The actress has been posting pre-wedding pictures for the past couple of days. Unlike other such shoots that we saw of late, this actress has decided to go ethnic. The actress is seen blue and red lehnga. Complementing her bridal look, the groom-to-be Avinash chose a black suit.
Oh wait! this is the second pre-wedding shoot of the actress. Earlier, the couple went all western. While Sambhavna is looking gorgeous in the white dress, her beau Avinash is looking dapper in a black-and-white ensemble.

Canadian Men’s Fashion Designer Projek Raw Is Speeding by 2016 with Success in the United States
2016年7月12日
From a huge first quarter, to running out of product, and a huge customer response to their new collections, 2016 has proven to and will continue to be a strong year for Projek Raw. When comparing the latest fashion trends from other companies, Projek Raw has surpassed the "fast fashion" philosophy with their unique approach to new designs, which focus on creativity and establishing a genuine identity, an approach that has gained some serious traction in the menswear market.

Projek Raw is a fashion design company based in Canada that has seen immense growth in the first half of 2016. The Projek Raw team has successfully created its own identity, one that is connecting with their target market. Although Projek Raw delivers more than three million units annually to the men’s clothing and accessories market, the company does not lose focus on consumer needs. By offering a wide range of new styles and creative and innovative designs predominantly to men’s fashion, the Projek Raw design team has not only mastered their new design methodology but has also successfully expanded globally.
When looking at other brands, consumers claim that all the biggest names in fashion all sell similar products, and lack creativity and genuine thought behind designs and products. However, Projek Raw offers trendy yet fresh products, and even brings a level of newness and uniqueness to the men’s wear market. Whether it’s a hooded jacket, a stylish jog-jean or a simple marled-yarn dyed T-shirt, consumers love the brand.
Projek Raw has seen immense growth in 2016, and in the first quarter alone. In fact, many retailers who carry the Projek Raw brand ran out of products in a matter of weeks. This just proves that putting a thoughtful and creative spin on a bland product can yield huge results.
2016 and Beyond.
After a huge first quarter, Projek Raw can only expect to see more growth through the remainder of 2016. The Projek Raw design team has shared their upcoming designs for new collections that consumers can expect to see soon. Projek Raw claims that the new collections will come down the road, turning the heads of consumers, and resulting in rave reviews. Projek Raw is living proof of what creativity, talent, and even taking a little risk can do for consumers as well as the men’s wear market as a whole.

Blye’s seeks bridal photos for album
2016年7月11日
A lightbulb went off for Carrie Giannakos recently while she was assisting one bride-to-be at Blye’s Bridal Shoppe.
The customer brought along her mother and her grandmother to the fitting, and it was during that fitting that Giannakos learned that all three women had purchased their gowns at the longstanding Kokomo shop.

“That made three generations of brides in one family who had purchased their bridal gowns from Blye’s,” Giannakos said.
While Giannakos only has worked at Blye’s since December, she learned from the owners, Deenie Clarkson and Vicky Sofianopoulos, that those types of stories were common among customers.
Blye’s, the boutique-style formal wear store located at 219 N. Main St. in downtown Kokomo, has been helping brides find their short prom dresses for decades. While the current owners have had the shop for more than 25 years, it has been a Kokomo staple since its opening in 1948.
According to the owners, customers love to share family history with the staff.
“It is not at all unusual to have a mom say, ‘I bought my prom dress and my wedding gown here. Now I am back to help my daughter find her bridal gown,’” said Giannakos.
Knowing how many women are out there who have purchased gowns since the store’s opening, Giannakos is hoping to create a photo album of the decades of dresses from local women. To make the book as inclusive as possible, Giannakos is asking the community to submit their bridal photo. The goal is to collect enough photos to create a book that tells, through wedding pictures of its customers, the history of Blye’s. Those who have generations of dresses in their families will be displayed on the same page, she said.
Giannakos said she’s looking forward to seeing the photos and how the styles of dresses have changed over the years “from the empire waists and flared sleeves and daisies in the 1960s to the cathedral-length trains, full-length veils, and oversized bouquets influenced by the 1981 wedding of Lady Diana Spencer to Prince Charles, to the gowns of today, which feature frothy skirts, crystals, and beading.”
To be included, submit a high-resolution digital photo to Blye’s via e-mail to blyesbridal@att.net with the names of the bride and groom, the wedding date, and where they were married. If the bridesmaid’s dresses and/or tuxedos came from Blye’s, she said to feel free to send a picture of the entire wedding party.
If it is not possible to get a wedding picture sent by e-mail, call Blye’s Bridal Shoppe at 765-452-1219, and Giannakos said she will find a way to get the photograph.
“When the book is complete, Blye’s Brides will be a pictorial history of Blye’s brides through the decades, as well as a ‘thank you’ to all who have allowed the team at Blye’s Bridal Shoppe to share in their big day,” she said.
Additionally, Blye’s is participating, for the first time, in National Bridal Sale Day, which takes place July 16. Dresses will be on sale starting at $99, and non-sale short formal dresses purchased that day will come with a free headpiece or veil valued up to $250.

Film review: Maggie’s Plan
2016年7月9日
Building a movie on the old truism that men react and women plan might seem a flimsy idea, but Rebecca Miller doesn’t do flimsy. I don’t know who she made a deal with earlier in her career but I think he may have had horns. She continues to write and direct smart, funny, surprising movies at a time when they are not particularly wanted at major studios. She attracts superb actors, probably because the roles are always meaty, even the small ones.
Greta Gerwig and Julianne Moore in Maggie’s Plan.
photos:http://www.marieprom.co.uk/graduation-dresses
The Private Lives of Pippa Lee had Robin Wright going quietly mad in a marriage to Alan Arkin. The support included Keanu and Winona (no surnames needed) and Blake (Lively, of course). Julianne Moore played a gay photographer who made fetish pictures for the smut market, in a flashback to the 1960s. She’s back in the delightful Maggie’s Plan as Georgette, a seemingly neurotic Swedish academic married to up-and-coming writer John Harding (Ethan Hawke).
We don’t meet Georgette until later, but we hear about her. Maggie (Greta Gerwig) has met Harding by chance in the admin office of the faculty in which they both teach at NYU. She mentions him over lunch with her close friend Felicia (Maya Rudolph), who says he’s "one of the bad boys of crypto-fictive anthropology", although his wife Georgette is supposed to be a real monster.
The movie is built around Maggie’s biological clock. She wants a baby but her relationships never last more than six months. There’s a hilarious scene where she’s trying to inseminate herself with donated sperm when John arrives at her apartment to declare that he’s in love with her and can no longer bear life with Georgette.
Two years later, Maggie and John have a daughter, a fashionable if shabby loft, and he is hard at work on the novel he has been brewing for some years. So hard at work in fact that Maggie ends up often picking up his two kids from school and doing all the things that keep a household together.
It might be relevant to mention here that Rebecca Miller’s father was Arthur Miller. We can assume she knows a little about writers’ needs. She certainly knows a lot about men, women and the paths of true love when faced with dirty nappies, washing up and the disgusting habits we all try to keep secret from our loved ones, at least until they can’t get away.
Miller’s strong suit is her fearless sense of comedy – fearless in the sense of seeing her characters in their full human glory, warts and all. Hawke’s John is drop-dead sexy and charming at first, but narcissism drives him like a V8 engine. At the same time, we can see he is serious about wanting to be a writer, so there is dimension to his self-centredness.
Gerwig’s character, by contrast, is all generosity and gangly, geeky integrity. Her dowdy clothes are endearing: no-one who prom dresses 2015 like that could have too much self-regard. I was thinking Mormon parents until she talked about a Quaker childhood. Gerwig is a great ally in Miller’s pursuit of adult comedy. In her films with Noah Baumbach (Greenberg, Frances Ha, Mistress America) she has shown an uncanny openness to the camera. Her mobile features are purpose-built for mirth. We read every thought as it crosses her innocent face. She seems to be reviving the art of the double-take single-handedly, like a 1930s black and white screwball comedienne who has stumbled into our colour world.
The screwball element pertains also to the plan of the title. It concerns the machinations of these two women about what to do about John, and it has a deliciously nasty tinge, based on acute observations of what narcissism does to some men. Rebecca Miller’s direction becomes more confident with each film. The balance here between humanity, comedy and satire is particularly strong. It’s a pity she takes five years between each film, but that is perhaps not of her choosing. Her films are worth the wait.

She’s one of the biggest names in the business, and Bella Hadid proved why as she owned the runway at the Christian Dior Autumn Winter 2016 show during Haute Couture Fashion Week in Paris on Monday.
The stunning 19-year-old US supermodel cut a divine figure as she sauntered down the clean white runway in the French capital as the most glamorous of all the fashion week events continued in style.
photos:http://www.marieprom.co.uk/blue-prom-dresses
Wearing an all-black ensemble, Bella put on a fierce impression while flaunting her enviable figure in the carefully constructed number.
Showing off her tiny waistline and a hint of her cleavage, she exuded confidence as she led a litany of other models on the catwalk, each of them clad in staggeringly beautiful haute couture designs.
The garment covering Bella’s trim, willowy physique looked to be heavy in fabric, and included a sexy deep plunging neckline - under which she went braless - as well as a nipped-in waist and peplum over the hips.
The mid-length white prom dresses was adorned with dense applique and fell to just above her ankles, allowing her to show off a surprisingly normal pair of flat black sandals.
The younger sister of Gigi Hadid wore her dark brunette mane slicked back away from her striking face, her eyes exaggerated with a heavy coating of cat-like eyeliner.
Behind the scenes, Bella pouted as she was seen having the cosmetics applied to her already flawless face: her cheekbones were emphasised with a dose of highlighter, and her lips were left nude and natural, so as not to overload her elegant aesthetic.
If the model beauty was feeling at all fatigued from her busy schedule, she didn’t show it as she cut an amazingly serene figure for the couture show, which saw plenty of A-listers in attendance.
Sunday evening saw Bella wow on the runway at the Versace fashion show held at Palais Brongniart in the French capital, and it looked to be a late one for the star, who only arrived in Paris on Saturday from the States.
Meanwhile, Bella had the eyes of plenty of well-known types on her as she stalked down the runway, including the prestigious likes of Celine Dion, Marion Cotillard, Olivia Palermo, Natalia Vodianova and Laetitia Casta, each of whom put on their own fantastic fashion displays.
Superstar singer Celine, 48, cut a stylish and slightly edgy figure in a pair of skin-tight black leather trousers teamed with a tailored jacket and dangerously spiky heels.
Adding to her all-black vibe, the Canadian hitmaker wore a pair of leather gloves, carried a chic black handbag and covered her eyes with cool, oversized shades.
Her golden blonde mane was coiffed to perfection in elegant curls and, ever the professional, she made sure to pull herself together after taking a tumble outside the venue.
French actress Marion looked truly beautiful and the epitome of Parisian chic in a black blouse with oversized embellished sleeves and a slim fit, teamed with a floral partly sheer pencil skirt and pointy heels.
The exuberant Hollywood star, 40, finished her relatively contemporary look with a retro hairstyle, her brunette tresses teased into a side-parted ’do with a curled fringe, added to with a pop of reddish-pink lipstick.
Her fellow French actress and model peer Laetitia, 38, went for a colourful ensemble for her time on the front row, revealing her stunning leggy pins in a short yellow dress worn with black heels and a navy coat.
US socialite and TV star Olivia, 30, added her own touch of style sass to proceedings, going for a squeaky-clean appearance in a zip-down mini shift dress worn over a buttoned-up, long-sleeved shirt.
Displaying her amazing long legs, she showed she doesn’t need the help of a heeled shoe, and she opted for a pair of chic pointed patent black flats.
Adding to the fantastic fashion on display off the runway at the Dior show, Natalia looked wonderful in a black dress with a mid-length full skirt and capped sleeves.
The 34-year-old Russian supermodel - who gave birth to her fifth child in June - revealed her post-baby body in the dress, which she teamed with a dainty little green bag and low-heeled nude shoes.
Other designs on the Christian Dior Haute Couture runway included many all-white and mixed monochrome styles in layers of dense, expensive fabrics.
While many of the models strutted in crisp, clean looks, there was plenty of heavy black in traditional styles with a modern twist, while every single leggy beauty made their way down the catwalk in inelegant flip-flop sandals.

It was a fashion face-off of epic proportions when Michelle Obama met with Queen Letizia in Madrid today.
Rompers may seem like the obvious choice for summer, if only for the minimal amount of fabric they tend to involve, but I’d like to make a case for the alternative: a summer jumpsuit.
The Street-Style Guide to Summer Jumpsuits
photos:http://www.marieprom.co.uk/black-prom-dresses
See, shorts are not everyone’s cup of tea, and while I’m fully in favor of a good pair of denim cutoffs for the weekend or some tailored culottes for work, I have yet to find a romper that’s as versatile as I’d like it to be. Either they’re too skimpy for the office, too formal for daytime, or too prone to eliciting “damn, that dress is short” looks from random dudes on the street unenlightened to the existence of one-pieces.
Jumpsuits, on the other hand, are versatile year round: cropped, wide-leg versions are perfect with a pair of sandals now, and high-heel ankle boots come fall; overall-esque styles can be worn with a bralette or bikini top underneath in the summer, or layered with a turtleneck when—*shudder*—it gets cold again. Plus, with more coverage from the waist down, you can get away with cutouts, low backs, deep-Vs, or tie-front bodices. Everyone wins!
Ahead, shop 12 of our favorite summer jumpsuits and get inspired with outfit ideas from bloggers and street-style stars.

Iggy Azalea proves orange definitely is the new black as she arrived at Sydney airport this morning looking hot to trot!
The Aussie star, 26, who’s back on home turf for her upcoming role as a judge on The X Factor, made her way through arrivals in serious style, wearing a bright orange knitted turtle neck black prom dresses uk, with a fitted detailed black coat, and stiletto over the ankle boots.

The star showed no signs of fatigue, and in fact glowed as she stepped off the plane in black sun glasses with not a strand of her bleach blonde hair out of place.
Iggy joins US singing sensation Adam Lambert, who arrived in the country a couple of days ago and is also a judge on the reality talent show.
It’s straight to filming for hard working Iggy. Picture: John Grainger
The hot shot rapper told Confidential that until recently she didn’t think TV would be on the cards.
“I really didn’t picture myself being a judge on any kind of television show but I think that actually this could be a good fit for me so I said yes,” she said.
“Initially I didn’t know but then I thought it would be good to come back to Australia and have an opportunity to spend some time there and obviously to see my family, who live in Sydney. So I think it will be a good situation for multiple reasons. I’m really excited and I don’t really know what to expect.”
To round off the panel, the pair are also joined by Guy Sebastian to front Channel Seven’s eighth season of the show.
“I am very excited to join X Factor in Australia and am looking forward to helping people shine their brightest,” Adam said ahead of his Sydney arrival.
It’s expected the trio will get straight into filming.

She’s used to strutting down the world’s biggest runways.
So it was no surprise to see Megan Gale pounding the pavement in Milan on Monday like the supermodel that she is.
The 40-year-old, who is currently in Italy, showcased her enviable legs in a flirty little print light pink prom dresses that cut off above her knee.

Stunning: Megan Gale looked amazing as she walked around Milan on Monday
The stylish garment featured flowing sleeves, adding a casually chic edge to Megan’s look.
ShareShe paired the dress with strappy nude heels and a matching designer handbag.
Perhaps in a bid to avoid being recognized by her many Italian fans, Megan kept her face hidden behind a pair of stylish black sunglasses.
The model-turned-actress was set to star as Wonder Woman in George Miller’s Justice League movie, but was left disappointed when the film was scrapped.
Megan, who has a two-year-old son River with AFL player boyfriend Shaun Hampson, recently opened up about how she is not still hung up on losing the role of a lifetime.
’As long as my son thinks I’m Wonder Woman [I’m fine],’ she told Ninemsn. ’If that means I’m ’super-mum’, I’m fine.’
The hotly-anticipated film was set for a 2009 release, but it was shelved indefinitely following the Writers Guild strike and other production obstacles.
At the time, Miller promised Megan he would work with her on another movie and he stayed true to his word.
The Australian director penned the role of desert warrior Valkyrie in Mad Max: Fury Road solely for the 40-year-old model.
’It was unfortunate that it didn’t happen, but it was great because I got to meet George Miller and he then wanted to work with me again and he created a role for me in Mad Max: Fury Road,’ she said.

Fendi Men’s Spring 2017 Collection
2016年6月21日
Call it the pool party of the season.
Fendi’s spring ’17 men’s collection included fake AstroTurf and a lap pool, which models walked around (the pool was even fitted with a Fendi-branded diving board). As for the looks, poolside chic was the message: We saw leather pool slides and sandals, bucket hats, striped motifs, wet hair, oversized canvas beach totes and silk shirts printed with mosaic tile trims.

While last season Fendi took on the house slipper, this season saw the summer pool shoe get a luxurious treatment. Of course Fendi wouldn’t do any old flip-flop. Leather slides had tubular stitching that created a plushy upper, while crisscross straps were two-toned. Some of the sandals were paired with quilted puffer trenches or wooly robes with floral-embroidered pockets, a major update from mummifying one’s self in a beach towel. The pants, meanwhile, were baggy and billowed in the wind from the fans lining the room.

Given sneakers is a huge portion of the business, the Italian brand also experimented there this season. Low-top courts had side cutouts in the shape of squiggles, and the laces were tied around the ankle. Loafers were reworked into slip-on mules, a style that feels fresh in the menswear scene after being a trend in womenswear for so long.
